Large, private, upscale home on small, quiet lake within the Canadian Lakes Resort.   Located in the heart of Michigan's Amish countryside, this home is surrounded by quiet wooded areas and abundant wildlife (watch for deer as you're driving!). Wild turkeys may stroll down the road each day and loons may visit in the evenings. Looking for someplace where you're always in the midst of noise and activity? This is not the place for you! However, if you're looking for a tranquil get away, where your children can kayak and fish safely without fear of power boats, and where you can easily visit the more active, bustling water areas and then return to peace and quiet - this is that place!

Canadian Lakes: The Canadian Lakes Resort is a community in west central Michigan, comprised of several different lakes (some all-sports, some no wake). Within the resort, beaches, golf courses, tennis and swimming pools are available to residents and guests. Frequent activities are scheduled at the Resort 'castle' including car shows, quilt displays, and live evening entertainment.

Over 2000 square feet of newly decorated living space. New carpet and laminated flooring, three bedrooms tastefully decorated for rest and comfort, three full bathrooms, and so much more!

The first floor has a large living room with gas fireplace, a sunroom with 32" tv and nintendo game system, a full kitchen, large dining room table, small office with desk and phone, full bathroom with tub and shower, and large bedroom with two twin beds. Large windows and sliding glass door look out onto the lake. A 40' deck off the living room has barbeque grill and beautiful patio set for 6.

Upstairs has large comfortable loft with huge circular windows and skylights, beautiful urban-inspired bedroom with king size bed, and full bathroom with shower and skylight.

Lower level has large family room with 65" tv with surround sound, pub table with four chairs, large sofa and foosball table. Double sliding glass doors open up to backyard, fire pit with chairs, and private lakefront. Also on lower level large airy french-inspired bedroom with queen bed, another full bathroom, and playroom with childrens' toys, games, and soft point dart board.

Home is tastefully decorated and includes a notebook with maps and information on all nearby attractions. Kitchen is fully stocked with all necessary equipment including blender, toaster, and coffee maker. Just bring food and you're ready to go! All bedrooms and baths fully stocked with necessary linens. Free wi-fi. Washer and dryer located behind bi-fold doors on first floor. Double garage with circle drive and landscape lights for cozy nightimes. Plenty of wood provided for fires and marshmellow roasting each evening.

The house is located directly on Fawn Lake, which is no-wake lake, very safe for children fishing or kayaking. a very quiet lake with equally lovely homes scattered on its edges. Adult and children's size bikes as well as a paddle boat and fishing boat is included in the rental. Just bring your fishing poles and gear! Bait is available at the nearby hardware store.
