Our 40 acres, gorgeously decorated main house and cabin, large pond, and beautiful gardens and wooded property can be yours for as many nights as you would like to rent the property. We are located near great antique shopping, hunting, and lake and snow sport locations. We are down the road from a 500 acre wildlife reserve.
We have worked hard to create a unique vacation experience that incorporates an appreciation of design as much as comfort. We have carved a little space out of the Minnesota countryside where people needing a break from real life can come unwind. Spend a weekend, or a week, floating on a raft in the pond or hanging in a hammock catching up on your reading. Do yoga on the deck overlooking the pond and our 40 acres of woods. In the evening you can sit around a fire reconnecting with your family and friends and make dinner together inside in the kitchen or outside on the grill. Fall asleep in comfortable beds and awake renewed, ready to spend yet another day relaxing. And then return to your everyday life refreshed.
The property consists of a main house and a cabin. The main house is the only sleeping quarters for rent from Nov.-April and sleeps up to 6. There is a master bedroom with a king sized bed and a downstairs bedroom that has a queen bed and can have an additional rollaway bed placed in it that fits a full mattress. You must ask for us to place the rollaway in the room. From May-October both houses are for rent and we sleep up to 12.
