Inside the Gatehouse you will find the rustic charm of a country farm. Built originally as a log cabin and added to over time, generations of farmers have called this house home.
Enter through the side door of the house at the end of a tree-covered drive, a screened-in porch overlooks the 12-acre meadow. Breezy and spacious, it is a wonderful outdoor living room for the house and great for summer breakfasts and good conversation. A breakfast nook between the porch and the main house provides a warm entranceway to the rest of the house. From there, pass through the full kitchen and adjacent dining room to a spacious living room with gas-fireplace. Adjacent to the living room on the creek side of the house is another screened porch. Behind the living room is the master bedroom with adjoining full bath. Next to the fireplace is the staircase to the second floor, with its two bedrooms and second floor full bath.
