Whether you know them as the Western Isles or the Outer Hebrides, you can discover the beautiful sandy beaches, ancient Standing Stones or dramatic scenery of the Islands from the comfortable base of Ceol Na Mara (Song of the sea) Ceol Na Mara is a newly refurbished family home which can sleep up to 7 people plus a cot, and is located in Point on the beautiful Isle of Lewis. It provides self catering accommodation just a few miles out of the main town of Stornaway. It is close enough for shops, supermarkets, restaurants and takeaways, but far enough for quiet peaceful relaxation. Ceol Na Mara overlooks the sea and croft land. There is oil central heating in addition to the wood burning stove in the lounge for that 'cosy night in feeling'. The lounge also contains LCD TV with freeview digital, DVD player, CD player and VCR.

In the large kitchen the 3 windows provide a panoramic sea view. There is an oil fuelled stove/ cooker, as well a separate electric cooker. The kitchen contains a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, crockery and cutlery. There is also a large dining table and chairs.. The stove makes this a warm cosy room to have your meals in. There is full central heating throughout the house. A welcome basket is also included in the price and will be waiting for you at Ceol Na Mara, it includes tea coffee milk, biscuits, salt, pepper, herbs and spices. Also a bottle of wine to help you relax after your journey. Just off the kitchen a utility room provides a washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities. There are three bedrooms, one ground floor with a large queen size bed( bigger than king size) and two bedrooms upstairs, one with a double bed and one with a single and a small double bed . All bedrooms are en suite with showers, the downstairs en suite room also having a bath.

A cot and a highchair are available and bed linen and towels are also provided at no extra cost. Logs for the wood burning stove are readily available on the island however an initial basket of logs will be waiting for you free of charge. Books and games are also available for your use
Ceol Na Mara is a non smoking, pet free home which is located only a short drive to the airport and ferry terminal. There is easy off road parking for three cars, and car hire is available locally. It is an ideal base from which to explore the beautiful beaches and wildlife of The Western Isles.
