All inquiries welcome as we will try to accommodate your vacations needs and preferences. Guest Horses and Pets are welcome. There are corrals and feed available, if needed. We have outside kennels and a mud-room off the laundry area for dogs during the colder months. Fishing equipment and mountain bikes are available. Access to snowmobile rentals can be arranged upon request. There is a well maintained trail system within a short distance of the property, complete with signs, mileage and maps. As the property sits within the National Forest system it is also possible to leave in any direction and start exploring. Ranch Manager lives on property in the Guest House and can assist with any request or needs you may have while visiting. Please do not hesitate to ask. Kids absolutely love it here and can do just about anything. We encourage them to get involved if they wish. It is a great opportunity to collect fresh eggs daily, or feed and pet the other animals. We do request that smoking be done outside, please, on one of the balconies or patios.
This is the Wild West and Big Sky Country. Montana still has less than One Million residents in the entire state and is the 4th largest state in the US. We still enjoy the wide open country and breathtaking beauty. Wildlife viewing opportunities are abundant.
The property is a 75 acre working Gentelmen\'s Ranch and Home to our family. It allows for the opportunity to see wildlife right in your own backyard. Just out the front door there are opportunities for Fishing, Hiking, Horseback Riding, Mountain Biking, Snowmobiling and more. This is a place to simply sit around the fire visiting with friend and family or get outside and explore.
Missoula and the surrounding county have roughly roughly 125K residents, as well as the University of Montana, \"Go Grizzlies\". There are 3 major rivers in the area: Clark Fork, Bitterroot and Blackfoot all of them with great fishing opportunities. Missoula offers a bustling downtown with shops, resturants and taverns like the Old West. Many Cultural activities are available to visitors from Concert to Symphony, of all genres. Missoula is home to the Rockey Mountain Elk Foundation and Museum
Missoula International Airport services many non-stop flights daily. Carriers include: Delta, United, Alaska, Northwest, Continental and Allegiant Air.
A car is a must as there is so much to see and do in every direction. The ranch is 12 miles from the town of Lolo and 8 miles south of Missoula for all your shopping needs. Closest sit-down resturant is the renowned Lolo Steak House or visit the Historic Lumberjack Saloon.
You will NOT be able to hear the noice of the city or neighbors. The stars are plentiful and light the night sky. You may never want to leave.
