A Blue House embodies traditional Nova Scotia architecture that is over 135 years old. Larger than a simple cottage, this fully renovated and updated 2,100 sq ft home has three bedrooms; two bathrooms, a large great room, fully equipped kitchen and living room.
Finished in pine, the kitchen is fully furnished and well equipped with modern amenities, including a convection microwave oven, stove, refrigerator, coffeemaker and toaster. Serving as a dining room and family room, the great room has two large picture windows overlooking the gardens, beach and ocean. A semi formal living room provides a quiet escape from family living.
The master bedroom has a queen-size bed and a walk-in closet. The second upstairs bedroom has a queen size bed, and the first floor bedroom has two twin beds. All have reading lamps and are comfortably appointed. There is a 3 piece bathroom with a shower on the first floor and a second 3 piece bathroom upstairs which has a claw-foot tub and pedestal sink.
