The Farmhouse is in what was once a small farmyard, there are secure gates that you can close if you have young children and there is plenty of room for children to play. There are swings near the Heated pool and in an undercover area (safe from the midday sun) we have table tennis and a mini pool table.

Satellite TV: All the gites have satellite TV with freeview channels; if you are a sky subscriber and cannot  live without TV you can bring your own viewing card to use in the digibox

Aulnay pool is a local outdoor swimming pool with a small pool for very young children 10mins drive from Dampierre. Paddle down by the campsite. The village has a small campsite beside the river. It is possible to paddle in the shallows in the shade of the trees. Boutonne with Grade \'A\' fishing. Further along the Boutonne you will find excellent fishing. Les Minimes, La Rochelle. A beautiful sandy beach, safe swimming, shower and toilet facilities and plenty of beachside restaurants. A short \'sea-bus\' ride will take you to the old port of La Rochelle.
