La Perla is a three story vacation home available for holiday renting along the stunning Lake Maggiore (Lago Maggiore). The lake is balmy, riddled with palm trees, but nestled between snowy Alpine peaks in every direction. The language, food, architecture, and culture are Italian, but the cleanliness, efficiency, and reliability are Swiss as La Perla sits astride the border. No wonder George Clooney owns a villa on nearby Lake Como!
Our two newly renovated apartments occupy the top two floors of La Perla, and each boasts a modern kitchen, spacious master bedroom, second bedroom, comfortable living room, dining nook, bar, and stunning balcony with a panoramic view. The units each sleep up to four adults and two children and can be rented separately, or together for larger groups such as extended families, or two families sharing a vacation.
The yard also features a shared grotto, or garden house, which is essentially an outdoor kitchen and dining room.
