La Cabanya is a holiday rental villa, an independent accommodation with more than 700 years of antique but reformed totally in May 2007. It is situated in the village of Mata, only at 2 km. from Banyoles lake, 15 km. from Girona city, 25 km. from Girona's Airport, 35 km. from Costa Brava beaches and 115 km. from the Barcelona city.
It is placed in the heart of the Pla de l'Estany (Costa Brava-Girona).
This is a privileged place since it is between sea and mountain.
La Cabanya is ideal to spend some days with the couple or with the family.
All the accommodation is rented whole (complete house) for a group from 2 to 6 persons.

You don't have to share the house nor the private pool with anybody else.

Thank you for an excellent week here in La Cabanya - a beautiful comfortable and cosy little house. We have enjoyed the warm evenings and nights using the great outdoor area. The brilliant tourist information file was used extensively during the days. The beautiful Girona definitly needs a visit, and so does the beach at Empúries Ruins. Many thanks.
Just a superb place to stay, La Cabanya is a very well built, well appointed and well planned facility. Mata-Banyoles is peaceful, quiet and yet so close to big cities, sight & seeing, things to do.
