Full of an intruiging and eclectic mix of old and new furniture and fittings, the rooms are all spacious, light and airy and can very easily accommodate 8 guests. The house is detached with a large garden, mostly laid to grass. Access is from a private and very quiet track, just across which is Hickling Broad. There is a 12ft rowing dinghy available to guests in the summer, moored at the Staithe just opposite the house. Real Swallows and Amazons stuff! And guests are welcome to bring their own boats by arrangement. The whole area is wonderfully rural and peaceful and ideal for walking, birdwatching, windsurfing and sailing. Just 4 miles from some lovely sandy beaches, all of which are dog friendly and quiet all year round. Old dogs and old ladies will find it easy to holiday at Red Roofs, the majority of rooms are on the ground floor and it isn't far to potter out into the garden or down to the water's edge!
