Recently restored and renovated, Le Gîte du Puits vacation rental is very homely and comfortable, sleeping up to four people. Located in the grounds of a former Cognac distillery, the gîte adjoins La Ferme and there is an interconnecting door, which is kept locked unless the same party books both properties.

This Charentaise stone building has been beautifully renovated with great care and attention, whilst retaining all its atmosphere and charm. All the accommodation is conveniently arranged on the ground floor.

The kitchen and dining room: The front door of the gîte leads into the fully fitted kitchen and dining room with tiled floor, original exposed beams and an antique wooden ceiling.

The lounge: The lounge offers plenty of comfortable seating and an ancient stone well feature which is now sealed but is illuminated at night. There are exposed beams and a tiled floor with rugs. One wall in the lounge reveals the original Charentaise stone and there is also a comfortable double sofa-bed.

Full-length French windows deliver plenty of light and open out onto the patio.

The twin bedroom: The main bedroom is furnished with twin beds. The bedroom has exposed beams and one wall features the Charentaise stone. The bathroom has a tiled floor and is equipped with a walk-in shower, hand basin and WC. There is always plenty of hot water.

With the option of full central heating, Le Gîte du Puits is a perfect place to stay at any time of the year.
