Coolroebeg is approx. 1500 square kilometers comprising the ancient Barony of Duhallow, West Muskerry and parts of East Kerry. There are three main market towns, Kanturk, Millstreet and Newmarket, and a number of villages. Duhallow is a mixture of land from top farmland to the Golden Vale, to colourful terrain looking into the Kerry Hills, and characterised by bogland, forestry and pure country air. It is an area rich in culture and tradition to the present day under the 'Sliabh Luachra' identity. The River Blackwater, flowing through Duhallow, is famous for its excellent fishing. The house is situated on the side of Mount Hillary in the Boggeragh Mts. and boasts spectacular views of the glen river valley and the surrounding countryside. The house caters for 6, with 2 double rooms, both of which are en-suite, and a twin room. The house comes fully furnished, the kitchen is fully equipped with all cooking utensils/facilities. Bed linen and towels are provided and rates also include light and heat. There is ample car parking.

The living area includes a living room, sun room, and kitchen/dining area, all of which are fully furnished to ensure a home from home ambience is achieved. The kitchen and living area come fully fitted with cooker, crockery, cooking utensils, dishwasher, washer/drier, a fridge with freezer and colour tv. One of the unique features of the house is a large balcony style elevated patio area with outside seating which has an excellent uninterrupted view of the beautiful surrounding countryside due to the elevated nature of the site. The house also features a bright sunroom with cane furniture. The house features oil central heating and a solid fuel fire.
