Description

Aimeo Cottage is built on the hill of Okiato, a secluded peninsula overlooking the Bay of Islands. Only a stone's throw from the site of the country's first Government House and just across the Bay, where the British and Maori leaders signed the historic Treaty of Waitangi in 1840.

Upstairs your holiday accommodation has an open plan living/dining/kitchen area and two bedrooms with bathrooms, almost all with magnificent water views. The cozy living room is fully furnished with CD, DVD, Freeview TV, books in English and German, and lots of information about New Zealand, especially Northland.

The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, juicer and mixer, a gastop cooker and electric oven.

The deck surrounding the house catches the sun from early morning until sunset. It has a  brand new gas BBQ, furniture and umbrellas for your use.

A subtropical garden with lawns, bananas, macademia, fig, and citrus trees offers several quiet areas for reading and relaxing.

Next to the spacious parking place is a separate building , with my backery , laundry and inside drying area. The Studio on the ground floor is privatly used.

We have wireless access in the house.
