Guest Rooms on the second floor one flight up:
All rooms have a desk, armchair, fridge, towel warmer, and full bath amenities. Breakfast is included. 
 
Amethyst Room is "Deluxe King Room" with a balcony. It has a large marble shower and a walk-in closet. It is at the west end with sunshine coming in a large window and slider doors to the balcony. Vintage furniture and art give it a cozy feel. It has a fridge, towel warmer, and full bath amenities. 
 
Garnet Suite is "King Suite with Balcony" and occupies the east half of the second floor. It is a grand space with mountain views and lake views, glass sliders onto a private balcony. The attached bonus room has a full bed, bureau, chair and lamp. Your dressing room includes hanging space, and a refrigerator. Families or groups may choose to set up a cot in the dressing room for someone who likes a cozy space.The the huge, green bathroom has an open shower, whirlpool tub, two towel warmers, and full bath amenities. 
 
Turquoise Room is "King Room with Balcony" and can be set as twins. It has an entry hall with coat hooks, a large shower, and morning light from the slider doors to the balcony. Hand painted walls and original art highlight air and water themes. It has a fridge, towel warmer, and full bath amenities. 
 
Guest access
Guests have access to the living and dining areas, and a library filled with books, movies, puzzles, games and toys for all ages. The organic gardens, lawn, pond and 15 acres of woodland are fun for all ages. We have beach passes for the semi-private town beach and provide towels and footwear.
 
Other things to note
Children and pets are welcome guests. The pet fee is $15 per night for small dogs and $20 per night for over 40 lbs. (unless a certified service animal). We have many amenities for little people and furbabies. All are treated as honored guests.

We visited friends in 2003 and fell in love with the area. Newfound is one of the cleanest lakes in the world, and the fourth largest lake in New Hampshire. Pure, clean water, amazing views, state parks, waterfalls, hiking trails and the joys of Nature's Playground make visiting Coppertoppe Inn and Retreat a time away from the crush of modern life but with all the comforts of home.

Great Host!


Sheila Bill and David were amazing! Friendly and helpful. I have a bad back and they helped me unload and load the car. Also if you have dogs, this is the place. My dogs played in the frog pond , clean water for hours. I have trouble walking so the distraction for the dogs was awesome! Thank you to the Coppertoppe team!

We stayed in the Garnet room and the bathroom was everything and more that we were looking for. the accomodations from our hosts were outstanding and the breakfast delicious. They were also incredibly accommodating to my wife's food allergies and sensitivities. the only small complaint was that we got terrible wifi in the room we could only get a bar or two of wifi from the bathroom (and we didn't have any service in this region of NH) though since we were only there a night and the cell silence was nice we didn't bring it up. I'm sure it could have been resolved. overall it was a pleasant stay with amazing views of the lake and close to lots of nature and hiking (our dog was in heaven). Definitely recommend!

Firstly this is not just some ordinary room. This is an amazing full bed and breakfast experience run by 2 hospitality professionals that are top notch at what they do. This B&B is a HIDDEN GEM!! If you aren't immediately entranced by the views of the sun rising and setting over a pristine mountain lake you will be lost in the beauty and character of the building which is full of eye catching art. Shelia and Bruce were a joy to conversate with and were some of the kindest people I have had the pleasure of meeting. They are very pet friendly and treated our dog like family! As for the garnet suite the room is gorgeous and feels luxurious. The bathroom is a stunner and very large and open, it is so relaxing and the green jade marble tiling adds a gorgeous touch. What are you waiting for?! Book this B&B you will not regret it!! I rarely write reviews but had to since I was so blown away.
