BreakAway from your regular routine and stay at our inviting beach cottage! Make it your home away from home. Relax in the coastal and tropical inspired decor with an overall contemporary feel. The house is just a 5 minute walk or 0.2 of a mile (350 yards) to the nearest beach access, Gulfview Heights. It is also minutes away from the Ed Walline beach access at Gulf Place. Both locations are equipped with restrooms, picnic pavilions, and outdoor wash facilities to remove the saltwater and sand.
 
**NEW** Kitchen appliances and private back yard patio with main bedroom access.
 
Bright, shiny and airy....the 2 story cottage has hand scraped wood floors throughout except for tile floors in the bathrooms. The first floor consists of a living room, dining room, kitchen, master bedroom with en-suite bath, and half bath. The living room includes a queen sleeper sofa and 60-inch LED TV with DVD player. The TV can be adjusted to be viewed from either the living or dining area. The dining room has seating for 8 while the breakfast bar has 4 additional stools. The kitchen has granite countertops and stainless steel appliances and is well-equipped for your cooking and baking needs.
 
Located upstairs is another living area, 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The additional living area has a queen sofa sleeper and a TV with DVD player. To add some fun and whimsy there are some themed rooms. There is a queen bedroom reminiscent of the beach. A sea turtle bedroom with 2 twin beds, and a fish decorated bunk room, with a twin over full bed, complete the bedrooms. These rooms are great for kids and those who are kids at heart!
 
The house is part of a small community called Beach Nest that offers a community pool just steps away from the house.
 
Come and experience everything 30-A has to offer! Restaurants and shops abound in the area. There is something for everyone. Hiking and biking trails are very accessible. You can explore the quaint town of Seaside where Tim Burton’s "The Truman Show" was filmed. Or, enjoy nature in nearby state parks. Many of the communities plan activities, such as outdoor concerts. There are several scenic and challenging golf courses in the area. And if you cannot find it on 30-A, you are in close proximity to Destin and Panama City Beach.
 
We, too, are consumers of and have tried to put ourselves in the position of someone spending time at the house. We have put much thought into making this house a home and hope you will consider our house for your vacation plans. In an effort to pay more attention to details, all bedding has been encased with allergy protection products to make allergy sufferers more comfortable. Perfect for large families, extended family and friends, golf getaways, and gals and guys' trips.
 
The HOA has surveillance cameras outside for the security and safety of home owners and guests. There is a HOA camera in the front of our house which captures the street and part of our driveway. There is also a camera in the back of the house which covers the area behind the first two houses. The community pool entrance is under surveillance by another HOA camera.
 
About this area
Located in Santa Rosa Beach, this vacation home is near the beach. Fusion Art Glass Gallery and Newbill Collection by the Sea are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Sundog Books and Sirens at the Beach. Traveling with kids? Consider Eden Gardens State Park and Destin Yarn Shop. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching. 
 
Notes
There is an alarm clock/docking station in the master bedroom. Also for families with young children there is a pack n play and child gate. 'New addition for 2015 are the 32' LED TV in upstairs bedroom with queen bed and Xbox One.

We visited the 30-A area on a few recent vacations and fell in love with the place! It was suggested to us at our son's baseball games as a great place to vacation. We live in St. Louis and the members of our family are truly a bunch of beach bums. The Santa Rosa Beach area has everything we were looking for...an outstanding beach, quaint small towns. but also close to larger cities. There is so much to do along 30-A and the surrounding areas.
Why they chose this property
Spacious, yet close proximity to white, sugar sand beach and other activities and necessities. Not only easy walking distance to beach, but also to shops and restaurants. We also liked the accessibility to biking and hiking trails.
What makes this property unique
The location was hard to beat to get the size and amenities of this house. It has a wonderful combination of a small town atmosphere with the benefits of larger cities. The newness of the house is appealing while still retaining a rustic, cottage charm.

Stop looking, This is the one


This is the perfect location with everything you would love to have in a family vacation. The host was outstanding taking care of all our needs. The house was fully stocked with everything you would need. We only ate out one day. Home cooked meals are the best. Do yourself a favor and book your next stay at this location.... LOVED IT

The house and host were awesome. Everything listed on wed site was accurate. No surprises or problems. The most beautiful beaches ever ! Excellent area for a family vacation. Was the best place my wife and I have stayed in Florida. Turned out to be perfect for our daughter and family that had never seen the ocean. Will most definitely stay again !

Beautiful home, short walk or ride to a beautiful beach. The home had everything we needed to make our stay feel like home. Our family of 9 had plenty of room and was very comfortable. The home is well stocked with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. We spent everyday at the beautiful beach. We had wonderful neighbors during our stay. There is a pool to use, which looked very inviting, but my family chose the beach.

The house is beautiful and had everything we needed. The neighborhood is quiet and only blocks from the beach. Close to some great biking trails, definitely recommend renting bikes. The location is still a hidden treasure away from the crowds but close to some fun restaurants and ice cream shops. Rose the owner was so easy to communicate with. Definitely would recommend this rental.

We loved this house! Plenty of space, very pretty, and very clean! The house was so quiet and peaceful, and is just a short walk to the beach and Gulf Place. Rose was a wonderful host!! We will definitely consider staying here again!!

Great location!


This property is great for a family vacation. The house is very spacious and works well for large families. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and the appliances appear to be very new. The house was spotless when we arrived. There is also a small patio out back that worked well for kids to be outside and play games. The property manager was very responsive when we couldn't get the lockbox to work and immediately helped us fix the problem. The neighborhood was very quiet but also in a great location. It really is a short five minute walk to the beach and other amenities. Would highly recommend Goatfeathers fish market for takeout (their gumbo is delicious!) and Pecan Jack's for ice cream. The pool isn't heated but that didn't deter our kids from jumping in. Would highly recommend and definitely would visit again when we are back in the area!
