simple, and comfortable place!


Really clean, simple, and comfortable place! All instructions from Manuel were clear and easy to follow, and if we had any questions, he was very responsive. Instructions for getting in were simple and included photos for each step which made it even easier to know we were in the right place. The apartment is on a quiet street, while still within easy walking distance of food, playgrounds, and other fun. The airport is close, and we had no trouble getting a ride when the time came to leave. The apartment does not have air conditioning, but we were comfortable with the large fans provided for each bedroom. It's a perfect place to stay for a night when flying in and out of the airport, and we'll definitely come back if we return to Costa Rica in the future!

The spot was great for the night, we were close to the airport and it was easy to get an uber. There is a plaza walking distance with plenty of food options around. I would definitely stay here again if I needed a place near the SJO airport.

Manuel was super sweet, accommodating of our schedule and need to check in and out quickly for flight. Also all his instructions were super clear and easy to follow. The condo was fantastic in a great area for walking to food and fun. We plan to come back and will use the space again for the nights before flights as it’s so close to airport. Muchos gracias to Manuel and his space he happily shared with us.

Manuel is such a great host and his home is clean and close to the airport. Manuel went out of his way to help us with a few things before we arrived and even offered to give us advice if we needed it during the rest of our travels in Costa Rica! We had a bit of trouble with the gate lock when we arrived as it works differently than locks we are used to, just make sure you turn the key all the way to the left and then hold to unlock the gate. Thanks for the great stay!
