Description

Enjoy Alaska the "Alaskan Way" in your own log cabin. Placer Cabin is a 2 bedroom private cabin built in 2016 in Girdwood AK.
 
Upstairs you can spread out on the king bed and our main floor bedroom has a queen. For larger groups there is a queen sized sleeper sofa in the living room and the cabin is fully furnished & equipped for cooking needs.
 
The space
Alyeska Hideaway Log Cabins are located on Doran Lane in Girdwood Alaska where the property borders the Chugach Forest.
 
Placer cabin has two bedrooms. Upstairs has a king sized bed and the main floor with a queen bed. There is also a sleeper sofa in the living room. The cabin is fully furnished including the kitchen.
 
Guest access
The cabin is a private rental so you will not have to share the space with anyone.
 
Other things to note
We live next door - as said above - and don't allow parties in our cabin. We have neighbors we need to think about and don't want them disturbed. We also don't allow pets because we need to keep the cabin clean and dander free for the next guests ; )

We are Patrick and Lynne Doran your hosts at the Alyeska Hideaway Log Cabins.
Patrick is an Alaskan born in Anchorage, while Lynne came up from Woodbury, Minnesota in 1995. We moved to Girdwood after marrying and have enjoyed the peaceful, small community that Girdwood offers, and feel that it is a great place to raise our family.
We also speak French and Russian.
During your stay
We are right next door and love to help our guests! We try to greet everyone, show
them the cabin, answer questions and offer ideas on things to do in the area.
