Many of our return guests have made this their ‘second home’ on Maui and have been visiting with us annually since 2009.
 
Just right around the corner from Baby Beach, The Maui Home is centrally located in a residential neighbor in the old historic town of Lahaina.
 
Baby Beach is protected by an exposed stretch of reef, creating a calm shallow area, perfect for practicing your swimming and snorkeling skills. This reef area provides a naturally protected ocean play land that is great for kayaking and stand up paddling. One can build sandcastles, bask in the sun, or take advantage of seaside walks, while enjoying spectacular views of the ocean and neighboring islands. It’s an ideal place for an afternoon picnic or evening glass of wine while watching Maui’s romantic sunsets.
 
To the South, the Historical town of Lahaina awaits you! Stroll down bustling Front Street filled with art galleries, boutiques, ocean front restaurants, 14 major historical sites, and the famous Banyan Tree under which many artists showcase their wares and crafts.
 
To the North, the Cannery Mall has a 24-hour fully stocked grocery outlet and many eclectic shops featuring unique island gifts. From Yoga to Yogurt, you can find it here. It is truly a one of a kind combination of stores and restaurants right near your ‘home away from home.’

After being closed all through 2020, The Maui Home has reopened under different conditions to be able to respect the new trend in regards to safekeeping your health, safety, and to comply with all current State and County guidelines.
 
The Maui Home can be booked as a one bedroom/one bath, where you have the entire bottom floor of the home so it’s perfect for a couple seeking the utmost in privacy.
 
Or, reserve The Maui Home as a 2 bedroom/2 bath, in which case you will have the entire bottom floor of the home, and also the upstairs master bedroom and en suite with a Jacuzzi tub. Ideal for either 2 couples or when traveling with extended family and friends.

These accommodations allow for complete privacy, but come with the added benefit of onsite hosts. Your hosts reside in a separate area of the home which has its’ own entrance, providing you with the opportunity, if needed, to ask questions or take care of any situations that may arise during your visit. You may not even run into them during your entire stay, yet they are just a phone call away to address any of your needs or concerns.

No cancellation fee if notice is given 60 days or more prior to your arrival. Once we take payment 60 days prior to your arrival, only those days that are resold will be refunded, minus a 3% credit card processing fee.

The perfect home away from home to celebrate our anniversary for sure


It was the perfect location, within steps of the best beach, Cannery Mall and Old Lahaina Town Center. The Maui Home is clean, cool and comfortable, truly a very private Home away from home with all its many amenities. Especially enjoyed the pool/spa and could not have found a better place to celebrate our anniversary than this beautiful Maui Home. Also highly recommend the Old Lahaina Lu’au, conveniently located within walking distance.

Good for a family or couple(s), so comfortable


Maui Home is so conveniently located and with a crystal clear private saltwater pool & jacuzzi in the back yard it\'s hard to beat. It\'s a sub two minute walk around the corner to a perfect beach for lounging the day away, especially with young children because the waves break 50+yards off shore on the reef. Great spot to teach kids how to snorkel, but also great to read or sunbathe and just listen to the baby waves lap the shore because the water is so calm. 10 minute walk into Lahaina town for all the restaurants and shops. Less than 10 minute drive up to Kaanapali & the Whaler\'s Village shops and restaurants. 15-20minutes further up the coast to the west side beaches and snorkel spots, Kapalua Resort area, etc. So easy to catch the Extended Horizon\'s dive boat off Mala ramp. And a quick walk to some of the best restaurants on Maui with Frieda\'s, Honu, Mala Tavern, Star Noodle, and the Old Lahaina Luau a 7-8 minute walk in the other direction away from town. Did I mention how convenient this house is?!? The location is impossible to beat if you love Lahaina and the West side but don\'t want one of the mega-resorts or sharing condo grounds. The house itself has a well stocked kitchen and BBQ making it easy to cook in as many nights as you want too. Cozy couches, plenty of table linens, and lovely covered patio for outdoor dining if that\'s your thing. Tons of beach towels, sand toys, high quality linens, LG washer/dryer and even little touches like a hanging clothespin rack next to the washer dryer for swim suits.

Excellent vacation home


We had a great experience at Maui Home Lahaina. The house is spacious, very clean and well maintained with great attention to detail. It has modern appliances, is beautifully furnished and has everything you could possibly need during your stay (there is a fully equipped kitchen to cook your own meals if you want, washer and dryer in the garage and plenty of towels and beach chairs to take for a day at the beach). The beds were very comfortable to sleep on. The backyard has a clean, inviting pool and a grill that is ready to use. There is parking right in front of the garage. The home is in an excellent location right on Front Street just a few steps from the beach. Despite its central location the environment was quiet and peaceful. There are supermarkets close by and it is just a mile to Lahaina historic center with its shops and restaurants. The communication with the owners was seamless and easy before and during our stay. We felt very comfortable from the moment we arrived. We spend a week in Maui and were very happy we had found this hidden gem as it truly felt like a home away from home. We would return and highly recommend it!.
