Description

This lovely old home on 2 acres of gardens and giant trees is just a 10 minute walk from Main St Saluda and it's quaint shops and restaurants. It is surrounded by the serenity of Bradley Nature Preserve and walking trails.

Dogs are welcome (max 3) for a pet fee of 100$ first dog, and 50$ for additional dogs.

4 lovely bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (ready for a soak in the clawfoot tub?) with lots of old house character, and cozy, fresh farmhouse decorating. Relax on one of the porches (3), swing in the hammock, listen to the little pond with it's croaking frogs, or take a walk through the gardens. Later take a walk through the forest that surrounds the house, or have a gathering at the fire pit. Worked up an appetite? Stoke up the charcoal BBQ grill or walk downtown to one of many fun restaurants.

The Master bedroom on the main floor has a Queen bed and ensuite bath. Bedroom 2 upstairs has a Queen bed, bedroom 3 has a Full bed & twin bed (with 2 twin mattresses hiding under the bed too just in case), and Bedroom 4 has a twin bed and small desk. Bathroom 2 with the clawfoot tub is upstairs.

The TV offers Apple TV and you can plug in your Netflix subscription if you like.

After you've restored your equilibrium at our soothing little house, you may want to jump in the car to drive to dozens of waterfalls, hiking trails or go tube on the Green River. If you crave adrenaline or are an avid outdoorsman, kayak, bike, fish, rock climb or do The Gorge Zipline.

Equestrians will love the quick access to the Tryon International Equestrian Center.

When you want to sightsee or shop (and you've covered Saluda), take in the nearby Mountain towns of Landrum, Tryon, Flat Rock & Zirconia. Just 15 minutes to Hendersonville, and 30 minutes to Asheville too!

Note that the Indoor Gas Fireplaces are not available for guest use.

  • Tricia Reynolds

My family and I live in Greenville SC and this is our second home. Eventually, my husband and I will retire in this sweet little home in Saluda permanently. I own and operate 5 short term rentals currently, and love this business!.
Why Tricia Reynolds chose Saluda
We absolutely fell in love with the historic charm and quiet feel of this property. It's easy walkability to Main Street makes it a fun small-town getaway, and it's proximity to nature means there is always somewhere beautiful to go hiking and adventuring.

Farmhouse charm

Super comfortable & charming farmhouse with tons of room and seperate spaces as needed. The house is in a great location....excellent for walking and there are designated nature trails just down the street. The fenced area outside was perfect for our pups! The yard/grounds are filled with amazing plants & wildlife if that\'s your thing!

Ideal location, clean, comfortable, and dog friendly!

The property is ideally located, clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the property is dog friendly with a nice fenced yard. It was also a really nice touch that the owner did not require us to strip beds and start laundry etc. before departure. We will definitely stay here again!

This was our best experience at at the RBO yet.

We definitely will be staying here again if we ever get back to North Carolina. We we loved the home. It was so warm and cozy. The the owner thought of every amenity possible. The overall feeling was like being home. We just wanna say thank you to Tricia for such a wonderful stay. Loved the fire pit, bocce ball, hiking, easy to cook in large kitchen, cozy beds, and claw foot tub. Thank you
