Luxurious 5 bedroom, 3 bath vacation home on a 1/2 acre wooded lot. This Lake Harmony Estates location is a beautiful home, with an out door wrap around deck, which includes a 6 person hot tub,outdoor bar set and table set and gas grill. The king  size master bedroom features a marble steam shower and 46' flat screen tv. The main level features a full bath and two bedrooms with queen beds, as well as a full kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and modern appliances. Kitchen looks out to our great room with large dining and living area with 46' flat screen smart tv and a wood burning fireplace. The house has central air, cable and wireless. At the entry level are two bedrooms, one with a bunk bed with a full size on bottom bunk and the other with two sets of bunk beds (and a pull out bed). There is a game area with a  pool table, professional foosball table, 46 inch flat screen TV, gas fireplace and queen size sleeper sofa. The house is about 1 mile to Big Boulder and 3 miles to Jack Frost ski resorts. It is a 10 minute walk - 2 minute drive - to the beach on the lake, which also has volley ball. Tennis court access is included.Split Rock Resort is only a mile away which features a water park, movie theater, bowling alley and a marina where they rent kayaks. I was born in 1951 and my wife and I have 3 children, all in their 20s. I grew up on Long Island and moved to the Philadelphia area in 1990. I currently live about a mile from Villanova University. I graduated from Georgetown University and my wife graduated from Drexel. This property was purchased by us to help provide for retirement income.

Why Barry Katz chose Lake Harmony Estates
This is by far the best deal in Lake Harmony for large groups. We do not gauge prices and care about our guests enjoyment.
You will not find a nicer place to relax and enjoy the Poconos. You can relax in the hot tub or play pool or foosball with your family and friends. Or just sit by the gas or wood fireplace and relax after a day of skiing, snowboarding or tubing, or golf, skirmish or rafting in the warmer weather. In the Estates Lodge the two separate upstairs areas (one with a kitchette) are perfect for multiple family groups. The log cabin a few feet away is so comfy and unique you will never want to leave. The furnishings are all top of the line.
What makes this country house / chateau unique
Two houses, but plenty of room to gather together in the Estates Lodge or the 1 1/2 acres outside with multiple picnic tables and furniture.
Hot tub, pool table, foosball, gas fireplace, many large smart flat screen tvs, cable, wireless, two levels in Estates Lodge and separate areas in the house to relax.
Log Cabin is so special you will want to call it home.

Additional Rate details

Check with owner as sometimes discounts are available.  Rates shown are for winter, summer and standard. The rates will differ for holiday time periods - MLK, Presidents weekend, Memorial Day, July 4th week, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Xmas and NYE. Please check with owner for those rates.

Surprise party weekend


I rented this home to throw a surprise 40th birthday party for my girlfriend. We had 14 guests total and everyone loved the house. It was clean and cozy and had something for everyone (fireplace, pool table, hot tub, etc.). The owner (Barry) was incredibly helpful with coordinating the surprise. He gave me restaurant recommendations and offered to let my guests park in another property nearby so she wouldn\'t see all the cars parked at the house. He even text me over the weekend to see how the surprise went. I can\'t thank him enough for his hospitality and for making her bday so special. We made some amazing memories this weekend and we\'re already talking about renting from Barry again in the future.

Fantastic family vacation


The property was clean and quiet. The house is HUGE and there was plenty of room for my large multi-generational family. Everyone had an amazing time and we look forward to our next gathering there.

Relaxing Poconos Retreat


Our family (2 adults, 1 child, 1 dog) had a great stay at this house in Lake Harmony which was definitely big enough to house another family or two. The house was clean and the owner was very responsive. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool table and foosball table daily and took advantage of the close proximity to Hickory Run State Park for many hikes. The house was also quite close to Split Rock Resort where we were able to run along the lake on lesser travelled roads.

Great house for ski trip with friends


Two families renting for a short ski trip. Spacious house with great common areas and plenty of bedrooms for kids and adults. Very convenient to Big Boulder and Jack Frost. Close by groceries, ski rentals - whatever you need or forgot to bring.
