Description

A field of bluebonnets, the Texas state flower, is synonymous with the state and its inhabitants. These flowers are hardy, independent, very hard to grow in captivity, whose seed shells are almost impossible to crack open. Their mesmerizing blue-lilac-purple color has inspired artists to translate such beauty, and Bluebonnet Cabin in New Ulm is one such translation.

Bluebonnet Cabin is the ultimate in luxury. It had everything: beautiful views of sunsets; woodland walks; abundant wildlife watching; horse, donkey, longhorn visitors.

The rental is for an entire cabin with full kitchen, linens, custom mattresses from Antique Bed Mattress, specializing in making mattresses to fit individual beds, bodies, and budgets. A free weeknight's stay in Bluebonnet Cabin or Lily Ponds Cottage comes with a mattress purchase.

Two-Night Minimum Stay. Absolutely no smoking, no pets, no fires, [no barbecues without approval due to dry.

Relax and enjoy the comfort and charm of the Bluebonnet Cabins in New Ulm, TX. See why every guest calls it  " Paradise." Hiking
Curly Q Ranch is perfect for a relaxed hike, together or alone. Benches dot the trails, respites so welcome to the jogger or runner— well as the closely observant one or the newly found couple to the lovers planning their wedding.

The hiking trails are clear of debris and clearly marked with signs. Each party gets a map of the ranch, outlining each trail or lane.

Guests may also use a small, light wagon to carry a picnic, a blanket, etc. For the additional comfort and safety of the quests, they may use light canes that open up into little chairs.

All except two of the hiking trails (Beatrice Blvd and Donkey Boy Drive) are shaded!

Because Curly Q Ranch is magic, there are very few mosquitos, especially around the swings on the piers and around the hammocks. If you do need spray, you’ll find some natural mosquito spray made with lavender essential oil.

Great

We enjoyed our stay. The beds were the most comfortable beds I\'ve slept on in a while!

Perfect

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in New Ulm and with Linda. Thank you for making our first time in that part of Texas memorable.

Linda is a perfect host

Always a treat to stay here. We have stayed in both cabins and enjoyed them very much. The homemade bread is definitely a nice treat after a long day of travel. Linda is a perfect host

Beautiful scenery

Such a cute cabin! We stayed here on our shopping trip to Round Top. Beautiful scenery, relaxing dock in the pond. Linda had warm, freshly made bread waiting for us upon arrival. Eggs, bacon, and orange juice in the fridge. We enjoyed our stay!

Great Location

Great location. Cabin was clean and charming.

Cute Cabin

The Bluebonnet Cabin was perfect for us - we were looking for a getaway from the city where our kids could run around and see some animals and everything exceeded our expectations. The cabin was great - comfortable beds, cozy atmosphere - and Linda even left fresh baked bread for us! We enjoyed making a little fire in the pit on the back porch and looking at the stars at night.
