These vacation rentals by owner give so much bang for the buck. The aroma of warm baked bread greets each guest.  Freshly pressed sheets provide great comfort on the line of mattresses offered by Antique Bed Mattress. These Texas ranch vacation rentals can be booked by the day, week, or month.

Hiking
Curly Q Ranch is perfect for a relaxed hike, together or alone. Benches dot the trails, respites so welcome to the jogger or runner— well as the closely observant one or the newly found couple to the lovers planning their wedding. 
 
The hiking trails are clear of debris and clearly marked with signs. Each party gets a map of the ranch, outlining each trail or lane. 
 
Guests may also use a small, light wagon to carry a picnic, a blanket, etc. For the additional comfort and safety of the quests, they may use light canes that open up into little chairs. 
 
All except two of the hiking trails (Beatrice Blvd and Donkey Boy Drive) are shaded!  
 
Because Curly Q Ranch is magic, there are very few mosquitos, especially around the swings on the piers and around the hammocks. If you do need spray, you’ll find some natural mosquito spray made with lavender essential oil.

Stayed at Lily Ponds Cottage for a wedding in New Ulm. Linda had fresh bread baking upon our arrival and breakfast in the fridge. We got to pet her baby goats, pig, and ponies as well! Great little cabin tucked back in the woods perfect for a nature getaway.

Beautiful Cottage


The cottage we stayed at is quaint and peaceful with a pond and a sitting deck. Linda let our son pet her goats, donkeys, pig and dog and he loved it. Round top is an easy 20 minute drive with great shopping. The land was beautiful. It was a wonderful way to spend time together as a family

Best Experience


This is the best experience I have had with after using this service for years. Our host Linda was absolutely outstanding. The cottage we stayed in was cute, clean, and my kids loved it. We were visiting family nearby and did not want to stay in a hotel, I stumbled across this place and I am so grateful! It was like a fairytale get away. Linda invited my 18 month old and 5 year old to feed the animals on her farm. My daughter fell in love, she cried when we left and has been telling everyone about the goats and donkeys she got to pet! Linda went above and beyond, thank you so much.
