Step back in time with a visit to George Vanderbilt's 250-room chateau. The Biltmore Estate, 15 miles away, was completed in 1895 and offers self-guided tours of the home and surrounding gardens, a winery with complimentary tastings, and seasonal farm-to-table restaurants, shops, and so much more.
 
Hit the slopes at Wolf Ridge Ski Resort! The family-friendly resort is about 20 miles away and provides year-round adventures like mountain biking, whitewater rafting, hiking, caving, and tons of trails for ski and snowboard enthusiasts.

First time, but not the last


Booked this cabin for a weekend getaway with my partner and dog. Great location! It\'s not far off the highway, maybe 20m from downtown Asheville, yet still feel secluded enough. Very clean cabin, furnished well, and stocked with many convenient items. Despite being near other cabins, privacy was no issue thanks to being at the end of the row, a patio curtain, and well-planned landscaping. We liked this cabin so much we want to make it an annual weekend trip in the fall.

Perfect Getaway!


Fantastic cabin - a hidden gem! We loved the decor - specifically the framed Avett Brothers posters. The Red Bird theme was perfect and tastefully done. The property manager, Mike, was incredibly nice and helpful. We absolutely loved our time here and would stay there again if and when we are back in town.

The cabin was just as the pictures showed! It was clean and had everything we needed. Being on the corner was just what we needed! Wouldn\'t change a thing about this place! Location is perfect and close to everything! Already talking about going back.

AWESOME!!! Could not have asked for a better rental! The property was clean, Kathleen made check in simple, and the amenities in the home were fantastic. If you want to be close to Asheville, but would like to decompress somewhere away from traffic........ this is your spot. We\'ll be back.
