Our home features 4 bedrooms (2 masters) 3 bathrooms, 2 large living areas, (including a separate private media room) a gourmet kitchen. 1 king-bed 2 queen-beds and 1 full-featuring crisp fresh linens.
 
Our beautiful porches, courtyards, and swings will beckon you to sit or swing awhile as you enjoy complimentary wine and cheese. Or take your wine with you as you stroll thru our many beautiful colorful gardens and courtyards. After the sun goes down head out to the pool and pool deck, plug in the party lights and enjoy the fabulous stars in the country.
 
Please note that you must swim at your own risk in our lovely swimming pool.

About Sheri

interior design and landscaping design have long been my profession. for years our friends have stayed at this home and called it their own private bed and breakfast. we have worked on this home for 25 years to get it to this point and hope you thoroughly enjoy every aspect during your stay.

Our home and land and views are rare indeed! Although we are in the country on 5 acres we are just 15-25 minutes from Austin, San Marcos Wimberly, the Guadalupe, comal and San Marcos rivers, Formula one and Schlitterbaun! Enjoy your outings, don't forget all of the winery tours in the hill country!! Or, stay home enjoy the big televisions complete with cable free wi-if net Felix, amazon prime...... be sure to take a dip in the pool and enjoy the stars in the big open "crazy sunsets" views.

What makes this House unique

We go out of our way to add special touches with farm fresh local eggs in the fridge for your breakfast, to crisp fresh linens on all of our comfy beds. Arrive to complimentary wine and cheese, then sit or swing awhile as you enjoy what we lovingly call our "bird-nasium". Fabulously huge sunsets and hill country views await as you head out to the pool and pool deck or the back porch. We have lots of party lights, turn them on and enjoy the beautiful star filled country nights. * NOTE: Please be careful in our lovely pool and swim at your own risk.

Our best Thanksgiving


Family time is best when it\'s stress free. Even before arriving, Sheri made us feel like we were going home to a place that was warm and cozy. Walking in, lights were on in every room, a hand-written note welcomed us and the refrigerator held a surprise. The elegant decor of Sheri\'s home could have made me uneasy, with rambunctious grandchildren running around. But that concern was met with assurance that my family was WELCOME. The huge kitchen and eating area were the hub of activity. It drew us all together and nurtured hours of laughter and conversation. We turned the media room into the kids\' playroom. The toys could be left out, and nobody tripped over them. A win-win for everyone. We all reveled in the broad, open spaces, both indoors and outside. The elderly dog, Charlie, thrived, never showing anxiety over being in a strange place. We are so grateful for the blessing of this place and are still basking in the joy we shared there.

Great location, amazing house, caring owners!


We got together to honor our best friend getting married. Location was central in between San Marcus for floating the river, and downtown Austin for hanging out in the city. Property was amazing! Lots of room, plenty of areas for downtime, and plenty of gathering places to hang out, talk, play games, whatever. Pool overlooks hill country. One of our guests slept outside gazing at the stars. You feel peace being in this home, and you can tell Sheri and her husband care about the property and the guests who stay there. After talking to them, you\'ll see how much they have a servants heart, ready to take care of you however they can. There are words of encouragement all throughout. It\'s the type of house you just feel thankful being in. We stayed 2 nights and it didn\'t feel like enough time. We all created memories there we\'ll keep with us forever.

beautiful bridal party retreat


This house is beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. I needed a house for the bridal party for my daughter\'s wedding -- a place for the young folks to relax and get to know each other since they live in different parts of the country. The living area is spacious with comfortable furniture. The porch, yard and pool area are equally comfortable and well appointed. Each of the 4 sleeping areas (3 bedrooms and a media room with 4 single roll away beds and 2 couches) was comfortable. Everyone staying there had great things to say about the house! Large windows let in light and allowed us to enjoy the beautiful Texas hill country. The kitchen has a large refrigerator, plenty of dishes, serving platters, etc. We even held our rehearsal dinner there for 30 folks. I needed a place to hold the dinner. Sheri, the owner, offered her house for a nominal fee. When the wedding venue wasn\'t available for the actual rehearsal, we did the rehearsal in the backyard. Thank you, Sheri, for your awesome customer service and for letting us enjoy your beautiful house.

Amazing stay, wonderful host, beautiful house!!!


Sheri was such a fantastic host. Her home is absolutely stunning. Each and every girl who stayed at her home was so impressed. Check-in was super easy and she even had a little welcome gift of wine and cheese. So sweet. Her home exceeded our expectations. We had a wonderful time, great amenities and plenty of space for our group of 10 adults and 3 kids. The grounds are beautiful! Sheri was very helpful before and throughout our stay.

Loved it!!


My family absolutely loved it!!! The home was gorgeous. Sherri was wonderful very accomodating and responds promptly. When we arrived at the house we were impressed by how quiet and welcoming it was. The kids loved watching netflix in the media room and the pool. My husband enjoyed lounging in the backyard(great view day or night). I loved the kitchen.... I could go on and on. Thanks soo much, I would definetly come back.

Girl weekend


We recently rented this property for a girls weekend and I must say it was absolutely amazing!!! Everything you could possible ask for was in the home and the property was absolutely beautiful. So many thoughtful touches were put in this home and it is so unique. If your looking for a place to go for a girls weekend I highly suggest this property. Also the location is awesome because it has close access to everything. We will definitely be back.
