Description

The Sandhills Lodge is ideal for golf outings, corporate retreats, wedding parties, or, for groups enjoying one of the local university sporting events. There are 6 master bedroom suites on two floors. The upper floor has 4 bedrooms with private baths that surround a common area that includes a 65' UltraHDTV, stereo and BlueRay player and an open floor plan living room, dining area and kitchen. The lower level has 2 bedroom/ bathroom/living room suites adjoining a central common area executive boardroom with a large mahogany table with 10 comfy leather chairs. Each bedroom has its own 40" HDTV featuring Time Warner cable. All suites have two queen beds, two lower level suites also have private living rooms. An 8 foot wide veranda with comfortable outdoor furniture surrounds the upper floor that overlooks the 1st fairway of the Governors Club golf course. The lower level suites open onto a patio. A sister lodge is nearby with an identical floor plan.

Note-
All bedrooms suites have 2 queen beds, private bathrooms with double vanities, walk-in closets, HDTVs and kitchenettes with microwaves, sink and undercounter fridges. A pak-n-play and high chair are available.

Great place for large groups

Perfect for large families


We stayed here for the weekend during our son’s graduation from UNC. It’s a great place for large groups with each bedroom setup for total privacy, plus large communal living areas. Plus, we were very pleased that the house came with lots of breakfast options in the kitchen. We really enjoyed relaxing on the huge porch, that looks out over the golf course. Karen was very accommodating and ready to help. We would definitely recommend this house very highly.

Great house great help


We had our church women’s church retreat at this house and it was just the right amount of space for the amount of women we had. The kitchen was stocked with breakfast items and a Keurig coffee maker. The living room /dining room area was connected and it was great for us to be able to sit and connect with each other in the same space. Karen and her assistant Alex were extremely helpful answering my questions even though they were redundant at times! :). And Alex got us started well. Highly recommend the property and anything that care Karen might administer

First class property


I am a Regional sales Manager for a large international Corporation. I conducted a Sales meeting with my team at this corporate cottage. My team stayed there and we did our meeting at the property. The meeting space was huge and First class. My team commented that it was the best place we ever stayed at for a meeting. If you are a manager and want to do a retreat or a meeting this venue will provide an environment that will enhance anything you at trying to accomplish. Karen is also very accommodating and very easy to work with.
