In the apartment 'Swallow's Nest' on the first floor of the guesthouse "Haus Wussler", there is a combined living-room/kitchen (a completely furnished kitchen with 4-ring-stove / hob, oven, extractor hood, fridge/freezer, coffee-machine, toaster, electric kettle etc.), microwave on request, a dining place for 4 persons, sofa, satellite-TV and -radio with numerous international channels, stereo unit with CD-player and radio, WiFi free of charge, a separate bedroom with a double bed and shower/WC.
 
This apartment is located next to the large 60 sqm sun-terrace of the guesthouse with a splendid panoramic view. Part of that terrace is separated and reserved for the apartment 'Swallow's Nest'.
 
'Haus Wussler', the modern guesthouse of our traditional Black Forest farm with 3  apartments of different sizes and prices, was built in 1992. The typical Black Forest holiday farmhouse 'Valley View' of 1839 with a 120 sqm apartment was restored and renovated in 2010. 
 
Both are located on a sunny plateau, next to the forest, surrounded by meadows and garden areas, with a splendid panoramic view of the Kinzig Valley / Central Black Forest.
 
Relax in the comfortable, modern holiday apartments of 'Haus Wussler' with balcony or terrace/garden area or in the historic, restored holiday farmhouse 'Valley View'.
 
Four accommodations of different sizes from 35 sqm for 1 - 3 persons / 1 bedroom, 55 sqm for max. 4 persons, 60 sqm for max. 5 persons up to 120 sqm for max. 6 persons / 3 bedrooms are available.
 
All holiday rentals have fully equipped kitchens, living rooms, satellite TV and -radio with flat screen and many international channels, Internet access / WiFi is free of charge, max. 3 separate bedrooms and partly additional places to sleep in the living room, for instance sofabeds or wall-/Murphy beds, bathroom with either shower cabin and bathtub, WC or shower cabin / WC, balcony or terrace / front garden.
 
Enjoy the garden areas with a barbecue site and playgrounds as well as the large sun-terrace of the guesthouse with a splendid panoramic view. 
 
'Haus Wussler' is family and children-friendly. Seniors, singles and couples will also feel comfortable and will spend a pleasant and relaxing vacation at our place.
 
The children love the farm-animals (ponies and mini-goats) as well as the playground with swings, slide, a little playhouse and sandbox and the large meadows with soccer goals, badminton and table-tennis.
 
The adults like the quiet, peaceful and picturesque location, the unique panoramic view and the beautiful nature.
 
Enjoy nice walks (also with your dog), hiking, Nordic walking, mountain-biking etc. in the forest next to our property and cycling in very beautiful surroundings.
 
Dogs are welcome, after prior information. They will also spend a pleasant and comfortable vacation at 'Haus Wussler'.
 
All apartments and buildings are non-smoking accommodations. Smoking is allowed on the balconies and terraces as well as in the outdoor area, in the gardens etc..
 
Gengenbach (approx. 2,5 km) is a picturesque medieval town with a historic town-centre, idyllic narrow streets, half-timbered houses, museums, facilities for wellness, sports and recreation, spas, swimming-pools, shops and supermarkets, pubs, inns, restaurants, wine-taverns and cafés.
 
Enjoy nature, cultural events, concerts, sightseeing, excursions, traditional German celebrations and festivals, for instance the 'Kultursommer' (Cultural Summer Festival) in Gengenbach, the 'Fastnacht' (traditional Black Forest Carnival), the Nightwatchman's tour through the historic town-centre of Gengenbach, the Christmas markets, the famous 'Largest Advent Calendar of the World' with an advent market in Gengenbach, the excellent cuisine and delicious Baden wines in the Black Forest, in one of the most beautiful regions of Germany!

Great location with Black Forest flair


Cozy apartment, with everything you need for a short or longer holiday. We enjoyed the idyll and the birdsong, from morning to night, as well as the large terrace, which invites you to linger and eat in the countryside with views to the Vosges. From the station Gengenbach the apartment is easy to reach by bike, on foot you have to expect from the train station a short hour. The area is gorgeous and ideal for extensive (cycling) walks.
