  • Shara Indy Kyle

Although my 1st name is Shara I go my middle name Indy. I am St Lucian by birth and lived in England for a few years. My husband is James British born but living in St Lucia for over 20 years. We are a family of 2 girls and 1 boy but the oldest lives in England. I am self employed as a Fitness Personal Trainer and James is a very well praised builder on the island for his work especially most prestigious gated development, Mount du Cap at Cap Estate. We are a fun and sporty family and in our spare time you will find us on the popular Cas en Bas beach where James enjoys the thrill of kite surfing. I am a very praised chef by friends so we enjoy entertaining. We like family holidays, wheather on island or off island.
Why Shara Indy Kyle chose Cap Estate
We bought this property in 2009 because it reminded my husband of the house where he grew up in England. We also saw the potential with the space to build a cottage in the future. The area is very peaceful with the natural singing of exotic birds. The property is located in a cul de sac keeping it private from lots of traffic.
What makes this Cottage unique
Perfect to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and Rodney Bay.

Great location, with privacy

Lime Tree cottage has an excellent layout for us to relax (spacious, nice decour, plenty of outdoor living space). We were a short drive from Rodney Bay, Pigeon Island and beaches. Our host Indy, provided a useful tour of the local area upon our arrival. We felt safe and had alot of privacy. Excellent location and holiday home.

Perfect Non Big Resort Vacation

If you want to have an experience of St. Lucia not shadowed by the tourist flare of the cruise ship or all inclusive resort this place is for you. It is not big. One couple or the family with one or two kids would fit perfectly. If you have bigger kids, keep in mind that you are going to share the bathroom. The cottage has everything you need for your stay. Having a car is a nice option as it is not located on the beach. Driving was not stressful and gives you much wider array of the places to relax for the day or quick run to the groceries. For us the only problem was to decide which beach we were going to. Reduit, Pigeon Island, Smugglers Cove, Plantation beach - are all 5 min drive. Indy gave us a ride around the neighborhood and shared with us her favorite spots. She was super helpful. You cannot wish for the better host. we did couple tours by her recommendation and they were right on the spot. The cottage itself has enough amenities for a relaxing time. We have not experienced any interruptions in water/electricity/internet services that are usually happen on the islands. For me the hot showers and AC in the house were crucial. I hope to be back! Thank you Indy!!!

Modern Lovely Comfortable Cottage

A charming cottage in a quiet secluded location. Modern kitchen area and bathroom. Simple, lovely décor throughout. Spotlessly clean. Just 10 minutes from Rodney Bay for shopping, restaurants, and beautiful beach. Indy could not have been more gracious and helpful. Central AC really helped in bedroom. Hammock on veranda. Unusual experiences are available nearby, such as Helmet Diving, SNUBA, and Catamaran excursion from Rodney Bay Marina to Soufriere volcanic mudbaths. Strongly recommend renting an SUV.

Great vacation

Very beautiful cottage. Enjoyed Gros Islet and the island. Definitely recommend the Lime Tree cottage.

location, clean, modern, comfortable, wifi, safe, budget friendly

We stayed for 6 nights. The owner’s residence is above the cottage, but they were on vacation. We were greeted and briefed by the property manager who was very helpful with recommendations for grocery stores, restaurants and sites/ beaches. We had a small suv which I highly recommend... Location is close to Rodney Bay and there is plenty to see and do in the immediate vicinity although we did do day trip to Rum place and sulpher springs/Pitons/Marigot Bay. Overall, while I give Lime Tree Cottage 5 stars and our vacation was fabulous, I cook and one of the biggest reasons we do vrbo is for kitchen use and the kitchen is pretty minimal for supplies, but we made do. I struggled with the gas stove a lot, but I’ve never used gasbefore so that was probably user issues. It was a great stove once I got it going. LOL Grocery store is very close and well stocked with everyday needs. One thing of note-there are a lot of dogs in the neighborhood and sometimes their barking at night was bothersome. We put a fan in the bedroom and that white noise helped a lot. I would not hesitate to recommend Lime Tree Cottage to anyone. It is a hidden gem on a beautiful island full of friendly helpful people.
