We are on the main tourist bus route no need to hire a car, $1.25 and 20 mins takes you all along the main tourist route with all the important places of interest along the way and into the historic downtown area of Nassau

If you're feeling adventurous, experience some amazing snorkeling right in front of the property and remember to be outside in time for those amazing sunset views that we are named after, they are simply breathtaking, we have the perfect location to witness the green flash as the sun sets over the ocean, something considered to be a sign of good luck to witness and believed by some cultures to be a "Glimpse of Paradise"

In our garden area we have a swing and playhouse that has recently been remodeled and fitted out with a full kitchen, with parents in mind; we have a comfortable patio set allowing parents to wait in comfort while their food is being prepared and cups of tea are made.

Nesbitts, a small local restaurant is located right across the road, offers great local Bahamian food, and some good old-fashioned music is guaranteed from their very popular jukebox, a short 5 min walk is the Blue Sail & Deck Restaurants both very popular

Definitely stay again!!!!

It\'s just like an apartment. Whenever traveling to the Bahamas I recommend packing food such as dry goods, snack, sandwich stuff etc. Prices on these items are high in Nassau . Sunset Place has a full kitchen and most utensils and having food saves you $! There is a GREAT beach right outside of the apartment. The bus picks you up right outside and takes you to downtown Nassau in about 15 min depending on what time of day it is. I LOVE this place. I have stayed here twice and will definitely stay again!!!!

A Nice of party

A nice set of apartments, right on the water with a great view of the Atlantic Ocean rolling in. Our unit was clean and tidy, with everything you could reasonably expect. I was thrilled to find a coffeemaker with some filters and some coffee on my first morning. Easy bus ride into town, and quite close to the airport. Took one of the sea kayak outs, which was a lot of fun, and did a little fishing from the rocks. Nesbitt\'s across the road offers Bahamian pub food, but keep an eye on the guys who set up the conch shack and the grill around 4:30pm in the public park right next door if you want the real stuff. They close as soon as they sell out though, so don\'t wait too long.

lovely!

It is very good apartment, just beside the sea, lovely!

Perfect place....

We were looking for a place away from the Spring Break crowds and close to the water. Mary\'s place was the perfect fit. It is not possible to get any closer to the water. We snorkeled, swam, and kayaked from the front yard in clear water. There is a small white sand beach and some interesting rock pools. Although 25 minutes west of downtown Nassau, it is simple and cheap ($1.25) to catch the number 10 bus downtown or just 3 minutes on the bus to the local supermarket. We were here for a week and did not feel the need for a car. We stayed in one of the units with 2 bedrooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor. Although these units do not have direct beach access that the ground level units have, we preferred the view from our 2nd floor balcony and were happy with the spacious accommodation. There were about 5 other couples staying in the units and all were friendly and usually enjoying a quiet drink each evening in the front yard as the sun set. Overall, the perfect spot for a relaxing escape!
