Description

Enjoy the lakeside firepit near the dock  on deep water with boat ramp on site. Fish or swim or watch the wildlife from an upstairs bedroom balcony. Very close to Columbia's numerous historic sites and recreation. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms with an additional Loft area for sleeping. Downstairs bedroom one has private bathroom and Queen bed. Downstairs bedroom two has a twin bed with additional twin trundle bed. Upstairs bedroom 3 has a full bed and private balcony. Upstairs loft sleeping area has a double bed and private balcony. Enjoy nearby entertainment options with boat rentals and scenic restaurants. Secluded house at the end of private road in quiet residential area. Pets considered This is a family house and our wish is that our guests will enjoy the peace and serenity.

Our family and friends have enjoyed this lake house as a quiet retreat from the rush and hurry of running a small business. Although the house is small compared to many newer houses, we loved being able to view the lake from all rooms and the secluded feeling of being at the end of a private road with lots of trees and a nice yard for games. We also loved being so close to Columbia we could drive up for a quick swim or lunch.

We are on the main part of the lake.with year round deep water. Close to Ft Jackson and the greatest soldiers in the world and USC and downtown Columbia with its lovely vast aray of dining and other activities.
What makes this Cottage unique
Beautiful lake views from all sides. Close to everything and yet secluded at the end of a dead end rd on a peninsula. 75' boat dock and a concrete loading ramp on site, Fire pit for winter star gazing.

Relaxing quiet and a perfect getaway


I had a wonderful time at this really charming lakeside cottage. The backyard is really great, leads to a wonderful dock with some amazing fishing. I could not have been happier with overall experience.

Location location location


Great little place. Lake is fantastic. Convenenient to everything. 1/2 mile to marina for boat rental or restaurant/bar on lake. Had a great time. Loved it.

Great weekend getaway


This is a cute cottage that\'s just right. The home has exactly what you need for a weekend at the lake. There is a beautiful view and the dock was just perfect. The location is ideal just around from Liberty at the Lake. We brought a few items from home to make our stay even better (a few cooking items, food, plastic utensils, yard games, floats,etc). We had a great weekend and would definitely consider renting again .

Clean, Quiet, & Comfortable


Came to Columbia for work and staid here for 9 weeks. Great place to stay. Very convenient to shopping and downtown Columbia. Plenty of local restaurants nearby and grocery stores as well. Great spot to be on Lake Murray. Would absolutely stay here again for work or pleasure.

Awesome Home Feeling!


We enjoyed this vintage cottage. We had an amzaing View of Lake Murray. This home had everything we could think of. We also enjoyed that it was close to Fort Jackson. We rented this home because we wanted to have our Soldier feel like he was back home and this home did the job. Thank You Mrs. Kay, you were very lovely. Till next time
