I loved staying at Mr. Powell’s home. It was very clean, beds were super comfortable, and the home was really spacious. Mr. Powell is also readily available for any contact and will respond very quickly, Additionally, he has thorough instructions for parking as well as getting the keys (and what to do to prevent being locked out). ALL THE COMFORTS OF HOME


Excellent location. Beautiful, well kept, well managed property. The website does not do this house any justice at all. Safe, secure neighborhood. The owner responded in a timely manner to any requests/questions. On the street parking was never an issue. Centrally located to the National Mall, shopping, restaurants. Multiple rental options within this one property. The downstairs level, Great for a single person on a business trip, a couple or perhaps even a family of four. Another option is the upstairs level(lock-off) or simply rent the whole house if you have a large family as we did. WELL WORTH THE INVESTMENT. You will never rent another hotel room once you stay here. All The Comforts Of home, fully furnished, washer/dryer/pots/pans, anything and everything you can think of. And the owner even had the kitchen supplied with basic cooking seasonings, lol, the little things in life! My family and I are planning to go back this summer. You will not be disappointed!

Well appointed kitchen, lots of space to relax, easy access to DC-- this place is a great find.


Mr. Powell\'s place is clean, comfortable, and set up like a private hotel. He responds quickly to questions and makes sure guests have info about the house, the neighborhood, and seeing the sights in DC. There was parking on the block every day, and getting into the city center was a snap. Grilling on the porch bbq was a highlight of our long weekend!
