The Cut In The Hill Chalets is a relatively unknown gem in the Ross, Hocking, Jackson and Vinton County region. The majestic, mature forest make it a perfect week long or weekend getaway!
 
Our three chalets are surrounded by hundreds of acres of tall hardwood trees, hills and valleys. Total seclusion!
 
Wellston & Jackson Ohio are the closest towns. There are a lot of small local craft, art shops and Amish communities in the area as well as great places to eat! Most are locally owed & operated.

Very Beautiful


Very beautiful, clean, modern-style cabin in a serene rustic setting. The location is quiet and peaceful, and close enough to town that you can still go grab a local bite or stop for some shopping. A lot of thought went into the amenities provided, and there are little personal touches throughout the cabin. It felt more like a home than a rental. The hot tub was incredibly relaxing, and we loved just sitting on the porch enjoying the surrounding nature. I highly recommend this place to anyone thinking of booking it, and we can\'t wait to come back.

The chalet was clean


My siblings and I stayed here for 2 nights and had a blast. The chalet was clean and bug free, the kitchen is small but has everything you would need for cooking, the furniture was comfortable, and the backyard was really pretty at sunset. I’m really glad we picked this place for our weekend away.

We stayed at the cabin for a mother and daughters getaway. The cabin was clean. The kitchen was small, but had all the accessories we needed to prepare fantastic meals. The hot tub, grounds, porch and fire pit gave us many options to be alone or socialize.

Great Location


Everything at the cabin was better than we could imagine. Johnny was great and easy to get ahold of when needed. Everything was so clean. Hocking Hills was a little further than we thought, but it was a beautiful drive so we didnt mind it at all. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we come.
