Our Condo Buena Vida at Las Olas is in the perfect location for a vacation get-a-way; set between Playa del Carmen’s most famous beach and vibrant international sidewalk scene. A mere half block from Las Olas,  Playa’s Fifth Avenue pedestrian promenade beckons with relaxed cafes and gourmet restaurants, exclusive lounges, and al fresco bars, intriguing boutiques and local purveyors of all types and variety. It is also only 200 meters from the Caribbean beach. Relax at Mamitas Beach Club or Kool's Club - the most popular and hip beaches in Playa del Carmen. Swim in the beautiful warm Caribbean water and enjoy the view. If a swimming pool is more to your liking, guests of Las Olas get a discount to rent a lounge and umbrella for the day and  use of the pool at Kool's Beach Club and Mamitas Beach Club. Even better, the fee goes toward your food and drinks! A further, more private option is to visit the roof-top pool and spa next door at The Reef Hotel. Condo Buena Vida has 1150 square feet of living space with unusually high 12 foot ceilings. Our condo is spacious and a rare find in Playa del Carmen. Tile floor extends onto the private outdoor terrace where one can dine and relax in the fresh breeze from the ocean. It is fully furnished with two spacious air-conditioned bedrooms each with King Beds, recently upgraded full bathrooms and walk-in tiled showers. You will also find a fully equipped chef's kitchen with granite counter tops, a separate laundry room, original paintings and many other fine details to provide quality and international style. Even the terrace is furnished for outdoor comfort and dining. Condo Buena Vida is safe and secure on the second floor of Las Olas with a full time security guard and a property manager to look after all your needs.

What attracted us is the very friendly people, inexpensive living, amazing weather and safe neighborhood. The perfect place to escape the Canadian winter.

Las Olas means 'The Waves' in Spanish and we named our Condo #207 "Buena Vida" meaning 'The Good Life'! This condominium building is appropriately named, since it is literally steps from the turquoise Caribbean Sea and glorious white sand beaches for which Playa del Carmen is justly famous. Solidly built and with charming exterior design features like the winding tree pillars, these condos combine the best of Mexican design, like colorful tile, with clean, contemporary furnishings to create a harmonious, upscale experience. The condo is continuously being upgraded with Tzalam (Caribbean Walnut) furniture, king size beds, vanities and doors.

Location, Location, Location!!
Not only is our condo at Las Olas conveniently located close to the beach, it is also only a few steps from the famous Fifth Avenue. Known by locals as La Quinta Avenida, it's where you can enjoy strolling along the cobblestone pedestrian walkway and find great shopping and an array of fine restaurants and fun bars. It is also only a 10 minute walk to 2 huge Superstores (Mega and Wal-Mart) where you can purchase a huge variety of food and beverages. For all the day to day and evening activities, a car is not necessary.
Many potential guests ask about a pool. Both Mamitas Beach Club and Kool's Beach Club just a short way down the road have very nice swimming pools that can be used by families and children for the inexpensive cost of a lounge chair and umbrella. The Reef Hotel across the road has a fabulous roof-top pool, hot tubs, spa, gym and restaurant that welcomes guests of Las Olas for a small charge which goes toward food and drink. The view is great and the perfect location to get that tan in a more private location!

50% of booking amount upon reserving, reainder  30 days prior to arrival. If booking is made within 30 days of arrival, then the total booking amount must be paid.

Refund Policy:

100% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date. 
50% refund if canceled at least 14 days before arrival date.

We loved it! Absolutely most wonderful vacation and location! Ross was so easy to work with and so accommodating! The condo was absolutely gorgeous! We had everything we needed plus more! It was a very short walk to the beach! Close walk to everything else we needed! It was like a five minute walk to both Fifth Avenue and the beach! The parking was amazing with the automated parking attendant! We always had a parking spot every single time we came back! The condo was immaculate! The beds were so comfortable! The full-size washer and dryer were amazing! The air-conditioning worked like a charm! The furnishings made it feel like home! The showers were amazing! Everything was wonderful! The only problem was that we did not have enough time there! One week is not long enough! There were beach chairs to take to the beach! And there was also access to at least three swimming pools! At the end of the road there was Kools Beach and Mamitas Beach, both of which had swimming pools! You can pay a fee to use the chairs and then in turn you get to use that money towards your food and beverages! There is a brand new hotel across the road, the Reef 28 And it has a gorgeous roof top with a pool that we can use for the same type deal! You pay a small fee and you can use the chairs and umbrellas and swimming pool, And use the money spent towards your food and beverages! This was all so convenient! You could easily stay here and never need to get in a car at all! You can walk to get groceries! And they have a full kitchen here which was amazing! The cabinets were stocked with everything we needed! There is a large TV in the living room that was very nice! The Terrace was amazing! It was a great place to eat breakfast! And to watch the people walk by! The entire experience was amazing!

Another amazing visit to Las Olas


We had such a great visit in 2017 that we booked another wonderful 2 weeks in 2018. Location and amenities are top notch. Washer & Dryer make all the difference. We packed so much less this trip. Easy walking to dozens of fabulous restaurants, scuba diving and the beach. Your still the BEST!

Great place!


We stayed in this condo for a month and I couldn\'t of asked for anything more. We used the grill quite often, being able to sit and ppl watch, while cooking was very entertaining. The noise from the bars is not an issue at all, although I think the ppl above us, used a jump rope every night as soon as I hit my pillow. Lol still not a big enough issue to discourage me from recommending this condo. Ross put a lot of effort into leaving no stone unturned, with what you need to know about his place. His property manager introduced himself and thankfully, we never had any problems that we had to bother him with. (Very nice man.) I hope to be back next year if its available again for a month. It really is a great place.

Great space!


We spent a week at Las Olas and loved it. The condo is perfect. Everything you need. Comfortable beds, nice kitchen, great patio. The music next door is pretty loud and starts early in the morning and goes late into the night but that\'s Playa. It\'s a party. We were there with our 2 year old, so not really into the party but when we closed the door and put her to bed it was barely noticeable. The place itself is a killer location, super safe and very welcoming. We felt at home. I would recommend this to anyone, couples, friends, families. We were sad to leave!
