The Blue House built in the early 1900s, sleeps 14 total with 4 separate, individual suite-style rooms with their own kitchenettes and access to a private pool, outdoor fireplace, and BBQ pit. We provide propane for the BBQ pit and wood for the fireplace and the entire yard out back is fenced in and perfect for your dog!.

Brett Davis, a Fredericksburg local, bought the property in 2012 after graduating from Texas A&M and serving as a Captain in the Army for 8 years. He runs the Blue House and the Peach Tree Inn with his family and lives onsite. With a degree in Parks and Recreation Tourism, Brett can provide guests with great places to hike and spend time outdoors in the beautiful Texas hill country. He also lived here the majority of his life which makes him a great resource of places to see and also for those that are not worth the money.

The property is family owned and operated which means that we are much more personable and flexible than the larger properties around town. The majority of our visitors are repeat guests who have come to stay for many years. The entire lot is within walking distance to many restaurants, shopping, and other tourist attractions. With pools, BBQ pits and HEB half a mile down the road, you may not see a reason to go to town and have a great place to have a cookout while the kids run around the property and play in the beautiful Bermuda grass.
What makes this House unique
The property includes an old motor lodge built in the 1940s, the Blue House which was built in the early 1900s, a few employee cabins that were built in the early 1900s and some newer houses and cottages as well. The entire lot is about 5 acres and backs up to Baron Creek. The location is perfect for those who would like to park the car and spend the remainder of the trip walking and seeing the sites.

Perfect Stay!


We were booked two nights so we could sight see around Fredericksburg. We loved it!! The location was perfect. It was quaint and everyone was so friendly! Our cottage room was clean and comfortable. The price was very good. In the morning we would go to the office where they had complimentary fruit, bagels, cereal, coffee, delicious pastries, and more. The staff were so nice and were glad to help with any questions about the area. A big thank you to Opey for the great conversations and making sure we were comfortable.

Lovely Accommodations


We picked the Peach Tree Inn for our one night stay in Fredericksburg because of the excellent price and its good ratings. We were really surprised at how nice it really was! It doesn\'t look like much for the outside, but the inside of the unit was far above the average hotel! The room/s were very spacious, and have beautiful hardwood floors. This is an old inn, but the units have been completed redone, including the bath room, which was beautiful. The real shock was that they give you a complimentary bottle of wine! Never got that at even a 4 star hotel! It was also very homey an cozy! Would definitely stay there again!.

The best kept secret in Fredericksburg


This is a home away from home. The people who run the inn are very nice. The bed was so comfortable. I would not have a problem staying there for a week. In fact, we had reservations for one night and decided to extend it for an additional night. I definitely recommend this place.

Wonderful


This is a wonderful place to stay. It was cleaner than some very expensive hotel. We had the suite. Very quite & chairs outside to sit & unwind with the bottle of wine that they had in the room for us. Yes the is an older hotel but didn’t have that smell. It had a welcome home smell. We stayed here many years ago for one of our anniversary & the only difference was back then they had fireplace. We will stay there when we go Fredericksburg every time. My Dad always said don’t judge a book by the cover because you might find a surprise.you are very close to downtown and lots of places to eat. We will be staying here again count on it. Office staff was very friendly.

Great Value


Our room was extremely clean and comfortable, having plenty of space to relax, especially considering the price. it had a full kitchen amenities which were all clean and in good working order. it is close enough to walk to Main Street, but if you are not inclined, it is a short drive and there was adequate parking (in early september during the week). the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. the room had a complimentary bottle of wine and a couple of bottles of water as a welcome. the continental style breakfast was modest, but enough to jump start your day - basically cold cereal, pastries, and hard boiled eggs, etc. the property is at the top of my list for value optimization, having a good mix of comfort, location and price.

Home Away From Home


It was close enough to Main St. where we could walk! The bed (and couch) were amazingly comfy! The shower had great water pressure!! It was nice to have our own kitchen that was completely stocked (we were upgraded). They gifted us two bottles of water and a tasty bottle of wine! It felt like a little home away from home complete with porch, two chairs and a nice view of the tree line. We will def stay here again!! Highly recommend

Beautiful Place


Clean rooms, I stayed in the Blue House #B. The bed was comfortable nice walk in closet. We were greeted with a bottle of wine and two bottles of water. Dog friendly and a quiet place to rest. I will come back!! BTW...The water pressure in the shower is Unbelievable great!!! I can\'t say enough about this place!!

A Great place to stay


Celebrating our 48th Anniversary, we booked a couple of days at Peach Tree Inn. It was a pleasant surprise when we arrived. A duplex-like accommodation that had spacious living room, kitchen, bedroom and bath. We have never been in a motel/hotel that was as clean as this. A complimentary bottle of wine and bottles of water greeted us, wonderful shower, regular coffee pot with coffee furnished for our use, dishes available if needed. Separate bedroom with TV, also TV in living room. Bench and chairs to sit in the front facing large lawn and trees--wonderful to sit and drink your morning coffee or evening drink. Also a continental breakfast was available which we only took advantage of the last morning and was very good. All of this for the most reasonable price. And, it was extremely convenient to everything we wanted to visit. We will certainly stay here again if the occasion arises.

Retro cool


I absolutely love this place. It\'s a real piece of Americana. A genuine old time motor court from a bygone era. The Peach Tree is beautifully maintained, the room was very clean. Staff all very friendly and anxious to please guests. Spent the evening out in the court yard sitting around chatting with two other guests. Was visited by one of the cats that live there, just adding to the charm of the place. A real breath of fresh air and decidedly a nice break from the cookie cutters of modern chain motels. If I return to Fredericksburg, will stay nowhere else. I would recommend to anyone!

Great stay


Older style Inn but with current updates. Great location, comfortable, and nice staff. Wife and I had our first stay here, but it will not be our last. I’m only booking with Peach Tree Inn when coming to Fredericksburg. Everything you need and more at a great value.
