Description

Lally and Cal's B&B is located on the north shore of Lake Superior in the scenic town of Red Rock, just minutes away from the stores in the town. It has great character, full of antiques. The B&B has three rooms available, one upstairs and two downstairs, and a large sitting room with two pull-out couches.  The upstairs room (Iris Room) is bright and cozy with paintings and an antique spread. The first downstairs room, the King Size room, has paneling, a comfortable King Bed and Twin Bed, and is decorated with original and commercial paintings. The second downstairs room, the Queen room, has antiques and paintings as well. Guests comment on how quiet and peaceful the downstairs rooms are. There is a small fridge, microwave and toaster oven available in the downstairs. There is a shared bathroom off of the main sitting area, which includes a sauna. People are welcome upstairs while they stay for coffee and amenities. There is a cultivated flower garden, deck with furniture and pond out back available for guests to enjoy during their stay as well.

The owner Lally has been running a B&B now for 6 years.  She decided she might as well do it, because they had so many guests coming all the time.  She got into it quite accidentally after a car accident closed the highway, and all the available hotels were full.  There were two women, a mother and her daughter who were traveling and stranded. At the suggestion of Lally's sister, who was running a bed and breakfast at the time, Lally took in the guests and never looked back.

Upstairs Room: $75CDN/night, $90CDN for double occupancy in this room
