Little Shaw Park Guest House is only five minutes from the beach and town center. Some popular local attractions include the magnificent Shaw Park Gardens, Coyaba River Museum, Calypso Rafting (at White River), Dunn’s River Falls, Dolphin Cove; where you can look and swim with the Dolphins and see other exotic animals. If a relaxing day on the green sounds good, try a challenging round at Upton Golf Course. If you’re looking for exciting outdoor activities, horseback riding and river tubing are available at Chukka Cove and other activities are at Mystic Mountain. We also have a cruise boat called Cool Runnings that stops by Dunn’s River Falls and a dinner cruise while guests enjoy the sunset.
 
There are several areas in and around Ocho Rios that you can go for shopping. However there are three main shopping centers (Tajmahal Shopping Center, Soni’s Plaza and Island Village where you can purchase clothing and jewelry) and four craft markets for visitors to purchase authentic Jamaican craft items and souvenirs etc. If you’re looking for night life, Margaritaville, Amnesia and Treasure Hunt Casino are all within a five minute drive.

I stayed there last year in March and it was very clean and wonderful I would love to see that again. I am trying to get my mom to stay there on her vacation when she go visit Jamaica it\'s a very nice place to stay.

Ocho Rios Best Keep Secert


This lodging place was comfortable, clean and private. It offered fridge stove and a/c which is very convenient in Jamaica. It owner operated and the staff was super accommodating again not the norm in Jamaica. You do have to drive through a suspect area to get to this location but it quite gated and spacious the suites are big enough to accommodate a large party and the price was was very affordable.

Quaint, Comfortable & Economical.


My fiance and I discovered Little Shaw Park after extending our stay in Ochi. We wanted an economical place to stay for a few days. Deborah (owner) was very easy going. My fiance and I wanted something quiet, comfortable & private. That\'s exactly what we got!!! We stayed in room #21. Room 21 & 22 are on the top level above a car port. It has the best view. It over looks Ocho Rios and faces the office. We had a veranda out front with seating. That was where we spent most of our down time looking into Ochi. There is a common area outdoors were you can have breakfast and chillax in a hammock. The wifi is great there!!! There were three other buildings on the property with multiple units. There were other visitors but we rarely seen them. Room 21 looks like the same room in the picture. Amenities are basic, poster bed, TV, dresser/mirror, night stand, lamp, ceiling fan, working a/c, large bath w/ closet and full size fridge. The comfort level was relaxing. Little Shaw Park is approximately a 15min walk into town. It may have taken us longer. Because, we always stopped to talk to the locals, took pictures and video. Before we knew it, we were in town. LSP is located up hill. Most of the time we walked back to the room. But at the end of a long day or in the evening, we took a taxi for 200-500ja depending on our location. Room Rate per night $50 NEGOTIATED!!!! This was our 3rd visit to LSP.
