This was a great property. Jorge was very accommodating. Great location near downtown Hollywood and the beach. Highly recommend!
We really enjoyed staying at Jorge\'s condo: nicely decorated (very zen!), comfortable and relaxing after days exploring or enjoying the beach. When we arrived, Jorge was there to welcome us and showed us around the condo: very nice guy! Everything one needs was there when we arrived (e.g.: soap, toilet paper, paper towels, basic cooking items such as salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, etc.) so we did not have to run to the store once we got there. Clean towels, clean beds, clean kitchen and living areas. We also enjoyed sitting in the gardens to read and chat. Also, we appraciated that Jorge welcomes dogs: out two pups enjoyed the place as well. The condo is well situated: short drive to the Arts + entertainement districts and to the beaches. Plus, quick access to the highways.
It was a great experience staying here. My family and I enjoyed a lot. Quiet area, and nice view around the neighborhood. Very close to beach and Miami too.
The listing was accurate. Jorge, our host, made us feel very welcome, as did his manager, Ingrid. The neighborhood felt safe and was very convenient to the beach as well as to downtown Hollywood.
Jorge and Ingrid did a great job getting us in and settled -- they live on the premises, so it\'s easy to get questions or issues answered. This two-bedroom, two-bath house was great for our family -- our two boys had single beds in the second bedroom. The house is roomy and well-appointed with a flat-screen TV, washer and dryer, dishwasher, fast wi-fi and microwave. While the house is dated, the furnishings are up-to-date, but not luxurious. (You might want to bring your own bedding, for instance, if it is practical and if you have guests sensitive to such, as is my wife.) This is a pet friendly complex, with lots of dogs and cats under Jorge and Ingrid\'s wings. I enjoyed sitting in the backyard and doing some reading, where I was visited by zebra butterflies and a loud flock of parrots. The neighborhood is pretty intensely urban and economically mixed (working class to unemployed). There\'s more cars than parking spaces, and by the way, parking is tight at the house, so be prepared for some jockying to get in and out. There\'s not much within walking distance, although I did make the 10-minute stroll to the Broward Library on Hollywood cirlce almost daily to keep up on my work. Lots of stuff within a short drive, including the beach, which seemed to be the major preoccupation of the other guests while we were there in February.
