There are 4 supermarkets, 2 hospitals, movie theaters, shopping centers and outdoor activities within 0.3 miles from the property but it is every private, quite and comfortable for 4 people.

The property is spacious and beautifully decorated with 2 Queen size beds, couches, and a beautiful lanai here guests can peak at the ocean and watch the fireworks every friday.

It is a very tranquil and quiet atmosphere and you will wake up everyday to birds singing

Great place and amazing location. You basically can get to anywhere in Honolulu as it is centrally located but far enough away from the hoards of people in Waikiki. Highly recommend and very charming spot to stay in.

Jose’s house has the most amazing view looking out to downtown Waikiki and at night time with the lights shining bright it gets even better. About a 10minute UBER ride to central Waikiki. We were an excited wedding party and the house’s configuration really suited our needs for the duration. Jose was there if you needed him and there if you didn’t. Communication was attentive! Mahalo!

Great Location!


This is a great location if you are staying in Honolulu. It is central to everything but in a quiet neighborhood up above the hustle and bustle. Great views of Diamond Head and the city. Jose was a good host, responding quickly to any questions or needs, and gave us great and thorough recommendations of places to eat and things to do. The layout of the apartment is a little weird but the rooms are large and there\'s a great lanai. There is no a/c or heat which is probably fine in Hawaii most of the time but something to note. The beds are very firm but comfortable, the shower is great, and the apartment is decorated very tastefully. There is construction happening on the property (we stayed the beginning of March and it will be going on for a few more months), so if you plan to sleep late or be on-site all day, it may be noisy. The driveway is not currently available to guests because of that as well, so you have to park on the street. (They are building a treehouse, though, for a super-cool place to stay in the future!) Lastly, make sure to look at all the fees and be aware that you have to pay additional taxes that are not listed when you arrive. Our total cost ended up being about 50% more than the initial \"per night\" price you see on AirBnB. Probably still a good price for a fabulous apartment but a lot more than I initially thought it was going to be. If I was staying in Honolulu in the future, I would check this place out again...or see if the treehouse was ready!!!

My husband and I had a very comfortable and relaxing stay at Jose’s place. The bed is excellent, the walk-in shower is terrific and the kitchen was good for cooking in. Nights were cool and quiet for sleeping, and we heard birds singing in the morning. It is quite private, at the end of a cul-de-sac, but it was also good to know that Jose’s house is right next door; he is a kind and thoughtful host and always responded quickly. The lanai was perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. With all this peacefulness, it was still just a short drive down the hill to shopping, restaurants, Whole Foods and the wonderful Ala Moana beach, so it was conveniently located, too and we were happy with our choice. Hope to return someday—and highly recommend it to others!

perfectly located


We selected this property because of the location (near our son\'s apt) and the great reviews by other renters. I add my thumbs up to the list. The apt is in a quiet residential neighborhood, yet perfectly located for quick access (by car) to everywhere you\'ll want to go on Oahu: a quick drive from the museum/palace neighborhood, China Town, movies, shops and restaurants, easy access to the H1 to to E/W, and the Pali Highway to go N. Whole Foods, Safeway are <10 minute drive away. The space itself is lovely, with a beautiful generously sized bathroom, with lots of towels. The small kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare meals. Laundry machines are easily accessible in the garage downstairs. The beds and pillows are wonderfully comfy. As others have touted, there are stunning views towards Diamond Head and the Honolulu skyline, and spectacular sunsets. Jose and Derek responded instantly to any needs--we had a problem with a beeping smoke detector battery high out of reach, and our hero Derek arrived with a ladder almost immediately. Mahalo, Jose!
