Our award winning (Top 25 B&B’s & INN’s in the USA), five bedroom R&B Bed and Breakfast is located on world famous Frenchmen Street facing Washington Square Park mere steps from the hub of the New Orleans music scene.  Complementary round of drinks at the world famous Spotted Cat Music Club & Cafe Negril! 24 hour breakfast/snack bar, coffee, tea and lots of extras. The streetcar stop and the French Market are just a short walk away. Don't worry about being too close or too far from the outrageous, always-entertaining Bourbon street/French Quarter neighborhood. It too, is only a short walk away! 
 
The newly renovated, 150 year old house is furnished with antiques, high end mattresses, linens and towels. All of the rooms include private bathrooms, ceiling fans and flat screen TV's with cable.  Other amenities include free Wi-Fi, central AC, washer/dryer, iron & ironing board and hair dryers. Three of the rooms have king beds, one room has a queen bed, and the Mardi Gras Jr. Suite hosts a queen bed, a futon bed, and a Jacuzzi jetted tub.

Ms. Emily is the resident Innkeeper. Emily lived on property for the renovation of the home and has assisted Ms. Rita (the "R" in "R&B") in managing the property over the last five years. She lives on property, loves New Orleans and takes great pride in hosting guests to ensure a memorable experience. She will serve you breakfast daily, book tours, make dinner reservations, co-ordinate catered brunches, lunches or dinners, show you around Frenchmen Street and even introduce you to the locals if you wish!Emily Rowlands purchased this House in 2014

Gorgeous home, outstanding Innkeeper


My friends and I rented out this home for my 40th birthday weekend. It was flawless. The rooms are big, clean, quiet and comfortable. The back garden is a lovely oasis that the owners had just redone it before our visit. The location is an easy walk to the Quarter and it\'s tripping distance to the best music venues in town. I picked the house because they allow you to host parties and the event coordination assistance from the live-in Innkeeper Emily was priceless. She helped with finding a caterer to running errands to help us out with last minute items and even helped run the day for us. It was spectacular. Truly, staying someplace with an in-house Innkeeper was incredible. Emily provided recommendations for the best spots in town, she prepared a continental breakfast every morning that was excellent and she straightened up our suites daily. I think every BnB needs an Innkeeper who takes as much pride in her work and has as much fun as Emily. If I could give the house 10 stars I would. Stay here stay here stay here! Book the entire place for you and your friends or just enjoy one of rooms and meet the other awesome guests. I cannot say enough about how perfect this house is for a New Orleans visit.

A fantastic stay that exceeded our expectations!


We found this gem online and looked forward to our New Orleans trip planned amongst friends (5 couples). How perfect to find a rental with 5 bedrooms each with their own en-suite bathroom! This house exceeded all of our expectations from start to finish. The innkeeper, Emily, was so gracious and helpful. She put breakfast out every day that included a great variety and quality. Chairs were provided to take out to the street for Mardi Gras parades and the location is perfect for this! The rooms were uniquely designed, immaculate, and beds were very comfortable. The local bar, the Spotted Cat is less than a block away and was the perfect spot to end our evenings with some jazz, drinks and dancing. Don\'t pass up the opportunity to stay at this historical, unique and beautiful home!.
