Great Family Getaway


Our host was most gracious and a pleasure to work with. He made us feel very welcome. The log home is spacious and cozy. It\'s decorated very nice. Rustic yet with modern updates. It\'s completely furnished and very clean. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably. It was fun cooking for the family as there was everything a kitchen could desire. Including keurig. And when I didn\'t feel like cooking, we enjoyed pizza delivery. It feels like you\'re in the country with the property surrounded by trees. Yet it\'s close enough to town. Great restaurants and bike trails within a couple miles. I love the small harbor town shops. As well as big grocery stores. There\'s plenty of entertainment including games, arcades, table games, and plenty of TV\'s with Dish. This log home getaway was a very affordable home away from home for our family vacation. We look forward to staying in \'our\' log home again when we return to Michigan. We highly recommend this log home getaway for your family retreat.

I have always been curious about what living in a log cabin would be like, first of all let me say I liked log home living. This log house was just spacious, beautiful, comfortable, quaint, charming, the architecture was just amazing. To say the least, the log home is everything I dreamed. The staff makes sure that you can relax and unwind the second you walk through the door and maintenance was “johnny on the spot” for any questions that came up, like lighting the grill, replacing light bulbs etc. The home is bright and beautifully decorated on the inside and nature did an amazing job outside the home. It has all the amenities that you need fully equipped kitchen is the heart of the house and invites you to cook meals that you can serve outside on the stunning deck surrounded by natures sunshine and fresh breeze. The most important common amenities like the bathrooms and showers were immaculately clean and shiny, The hot tub was sparkling and so fun to sit and soak under the stars. Grocery stores, local restaurants and shopping were just minutes away. Let’s not forget Lake Michigan Beaches in every direction and impeccably clean as well as picture perfect. I myself along with my family agreed it was a perfect vacation and we cannot come back soon enough.

Lovely Stay


We stayed a long weekend at this lovely log home, this past summer. The log home is very comfortable, convenience and close to everything. There is all kinds of shopping, the beach and attractions. We loved the log home. Our children visited and this gorgeous home had everything we needed. We always felt safe and comfortable. Morning coffee was a joy on the porch watching the wildlife and the sun coming up. It definitely was our most relaxing vacation away from the busy city and crowded streets & traffic. Most definitely highly recommend this log home to all.
