Red Cracker features 1 king bed to comfortably accommodate maximum of 2 persons with top line linens. Upon availability a set of bunk beds can be added. This Caribbean facing beach suite is poolside situated on the 1st level of Mariposa’s 6,000 square foot villa, named after Belize’s Red Cracker butterfly and renovated in 2014.
Interior – 480 square foot studio is tastefully decorated with Belizean furniture and tiled floors. Each unit has private bathroom, oversized shower with hot water, granite sink vanity, built in wardrobe, toiletries and top line towels, bath robes and beach towels. Granite countertop kitchenette features mini refrigerator, coffee pot with tea or fresh ground coffee. Two ceiling fans provide additional comfort as you enjoy cable television. French doors open to the sights and sounds of the Caribbean.
Exterior – semi private patio with outdoor seating, double hammock while you enjoy the sunrise, ocean breeze and the many varieties of birds & butterflies.
Steps away from the suite: Caribbean Sea, restaurant, bar and oceanfront pool with access to free WiFi internet. Mariposa is pet friendly – call for details.

Proper Usage: Tour operator agrees that rates provided are barred from being re-sold to OTAs.
Rate Availability: The rates provided are subject to change. Hotel Company conducts periodic audits of its rates and Hotel Company will make effort to contact Tour Operator in the event of a rate change but Tour Operator must contact Hotel Company to confirm rates are current. In the event of a rate change all existing reservations will be honored at the rates they were booked at.
Dynamic Commission: For all properties except Royal Belize, in addition to the net rates below Tour Operator may utilize the rates available on our website and earn commission at any time. Mariposa Beach Suites: 2 tree houses have 1 king bed. They can accommodate up to 2 occupants (max 2 adults) with no price difference between adults and children. 2 treehouse have 2 queen bed. 2 Treehouse has 1 queen and one set on bunks. They can accommodate up to 4 occupants (max 4 adults) with no price difference between adults and children. 2 ocean view bedrooms have 1 king bed. They can accommodate up to 2 occupants (max 2 adults) with no price difference between adults and children. 1 Ocean view have 1 king bed with a bunk upon availability added. Can sleep 2-4 occupants. Transfer from Placencia Airport to hotel included. No meals or drinks are included. Meal plan not including alcoholic drinks is $75 daily for adults and $40 daily for children. Breakfast Only is complimentary. Meal and/or Breakfast plan is commissionable at 15% Room Rates are per room per night and do not include 9% room tax and 10% resort fee.
Mariposa Beach Suites: Price does not include shuttle transfer from International airport to Mariposa beach suites. All-Inclusive package is $125 per an adult/$60 per a child daily. It covers all meals, beverages (except top-shelf liquor), and transportation from/to Placencia on days we have scheduled trips. Boat leaves at 9am / returns at 4pm, no exceptions. All-Inclusive package is 5% commissionable. All-Inclusive Package rates are per person per a night at $135 USD per night per adult and $65USDper night per child and do not include 12.5% sales tax.
Payment – Mariposa Beach Suites require a 70% deposit be made at time of booking. Remainder is due according to the below: Non-Holiday Seasons: 30 Business days credit has been authorized. Christmas/New Year’s: Must be paid 30 days prior to arrival.
No-Show Policy: No-Shows forfeit any payments in full.
Children: Guests up to and including age 12 qualify as children.
Groups: The rates provided are not applicable to any group requests. Group rates and conditions are negotiated on an individual basis. Group rates are based on 5 rooms nightly or 25+ nights.
Legal:
Start Date: Tour Operator may utilize the rates and terms contained herein as soon as received.
Term and Termination: The rates and terms contained herein end December 18, 2019 unless terminated prior by Hotel Company who reserves this right at will. In the event of termination all prior existing reservations will be honored provided Tour Operator has no overdue payments of 90+ days.
Confidentiality: Hotel Company, its individual hotels, and the undersigned Tour Operator, will disclose confidential rates and information. All Hotel Company’s and individual hotels’ information is considered proprietary information and, as such, is considered confidential and may not be disclosed to anyone outside of the Tour Operator. Each party will keep all such proprietary information secret and confidential until at least 1 year after the termination.
Trademark License: Each party shall retain the sole right, title and interest to its respective trademarks, service marks, trade name, logos, symbols, or any names used or owned by said party, whether registered or not yet registered (hereinafter” Marks").
Hold Harmless: Each party shall hold harmless and indemnify the other from any and all liabilities and claims, including, without limitation, court costs and reasonable attorneys’ fees, including appeals, arising directly or indirectly from the performance, improper performance or non-performance of the terms hereunder by the indemnifying party. The foregoing indemnifications shall not include claims or liabilities resulting from the gross negligence or willful misconduct of the party claiming indemnification, or that party's directors, officers, employees, agents or contractors.
Binding Effect: This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the country of the United States. If any provision of this agreement is unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
